Hideaway and Happy Saturday !

Sometimes I just feel like hiding away. It's Saturday though and I have to shower and get dressed and get my laundry done today, absolutely!

It's 54* outside and thinking of *back home* makes me wish to hideaway with all my memories floating around me, comforting me in a soft and happy 'blanket' while curled up on my loveseat with albums and a cup of tea and some oatmeal raisin cookies.

Hey! That was a long sentence up there, yes?  LOL !

Let's see,  *puts on thinking hat* what shall I wear today ? It's too cool for shorts or capris. I think I will throw on my dark green Michigan State sweatshirt  and  cream color cordoroy slacks. Maybe this will bring good luck to Michigan State !  College footbal, I love it !

I love Fall and the smell of leaves on the sidewalks, and of the fireplaces blowing smoke up the chimneys ! I miss the bonfires and roasting marshmellows.  I miss so much. But that's not a Saturday post.
Hmmm, or maybe it is. Later.

I have made a new blog here in Blogger. It's all about my Mom, Home, and Family. I think this will lessen my home-sickness that hits me really bad at certain times in the year. I will be adding lots of pictures, as I have a new Canon Canoscan LiDE 110.
